Olympic Success for 6D Helmets in 2024

The 2024 Olympics were a thrilling showcase of talent and tenacity, and 6D Helmets were right there at the forefront, protecting some of the world's best BMX riders. Highlighting the competition was Saya Sakakibara’s dominant performance, where she won every heat and ultimately secured the gold medal while wearing her 6D helmet equipped with our patented Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) system.

Five competitors in total put their trust in 6D for the event.  In the women’s competition, Laura Smulders secured a strong 4th place, while her sister Merel Smulders and Veronika Monika Sturiska also gave impressive performances. On the men’s side, Sylvain André brought home a silver medal, during an unprecedented French podium sweep!

At 6D, we couldn’t be prouder to support these elite athletes by providing helmets that deliver superior safety and give riders the confidence to push their limits. Their achievements inspire us to keep advancing helmet technology. Congratulations to all our athletes on their Olympic performances!
